It’s been far too long since I’ve posted. My Living Social Deal was very successful, and I’ve been run ragged trying to keep up with everything. Consequentially, I haven’t had much time for taking photos or painting projects at home. I’m posting what I’ve got along with some photos from a family sidewalk chalk session. Enjoy!

Daizy’s Princess Mask
You can find a step-by-step of this design at Daizy Design. Daizy is amazing and also in New Zealand so I have no qualms about recommending her. 🙂
This second design is also one of Daizy’s. She really great at fancy frilly eye stuff.
New Henna Pics and Random Stuff
I had a blast doing my first maternity henna. I’m really happy with how it turned out. If you’re interested in henna, be sure to give me a call. Henna is great for bridal/baby showers, girls night out or teen birthdays.
I’ve also been working on some more detailed face painting stuff intended for use as body art (arms, legs, back, shoulders, etc.). I’ve been having a lot of fun, and I hope to paint some on others (maternity painting anyone?).
Skulls and Monsters
These pictures are quite overdue since they are from last month. I’ve been crazy busy lately, is its taken me this long to get them posted. Unfortunately, they aren’t the best since I had to use my phone.
This was another boy birthday, so it was heavy on the skulls, zombies and monsters. By the end, the adults started to join in. I had a great time painting them. The young couple were getting ready to go to a dance and wanted matching eyes designs that were 80’s inspired.
Floating Lanterns and Fabulous Faces
So last weekend I had the opportunity to paint at another HUGE birthday party. This time, the birthday girl was turning six, and she was surrounded by a lot of love. The party was Tangled themed, but the face painting was a free for all. Tigers were popular, with zebras and puppies close behind. There were also a lot of fun boy faces.
Once again, hubby came along to do balloons. He’s mastered swords, shields, puppies and flowers–he even invented a balloon “gun” which was popular with the boys. One of the coolest moments of the evening was when the guests released lanterns–just like in the movie.
